Below are alternate styles to change the colour scheme and size of text for the Claro Software Website.

You can use the speaker icon in the navigation bar at the top of the screen to have any page read with SpeakIt.

  1. If you only want to hear a list of links on the page click the "Read Links" icon.
  2. If you only want to listen to a certain section you can hover the cursor over the text and click on the speech bubble.
  3. Select the text you want to listen to using the mouse and then click on the "Read Text" icon.
  4. The service will automatically read link which have the focus. Usually the focus is changed by pressing the TAB key.
A short description of the icons in the toolbar is provided below.

Reads the section over which the mouse pointer is placed. This button is available both in the toolbar and as a popup.

Alt - X

A piece of a chain

 Reads all the links on the page.

Alt - L

A piece of a chain

 Goes to the chosen link.

Alt - O

A textarea

 Chooses the link number.

Alt - N

A black square

 Stops the current speech.

Alt - Z

A yellow floppy disc

 Saves the current speech to a file.

Alt - Y

A magnifying glass

 Downloads and runs Lightning Magnifier. Lightning is a new magnification software program for the modern PC, working on Windows XP and Windows Vista. Whatever appears on the computer screen can be magnified up to 32 times. With Lightning you can magnify the entire screen or an area you choose, with a magnification strip or lens.
To stop the Magnifier just press "Pause" on the keyboard.

 Downloads and runs ClaroView. ClaroView is an innovative but very easy to use piece of software which provides a tinted overlay to make browsing and reading on-screen easier. You can change the colour of the screen tint and you can vary the level of tint.

 Downloads and runs ScreenRuler. ScreenRuler is a strip magnifier which allows part of the PC screen to be highlighted and magnified in a horizontal band.
