You asked, and we delivered. Writing Helper Mac is now available, giving you the same experience and tools to reduce stress and overwhelm, and guide you through a structured approach to composing your writing.

Writing Helper Mac has the same layout and structure as Writing Helper Windows, with a few differences. Firstly, it has a slightly different styling, just to match the Mac environment a little better. You will not yet be able to export or import visual maps, but can still identify open concepts and create structures in the standard ways.

OCR works a little differently than you may be used to, but you will be guided through the simple approach for inaccessible documents when you need to make them accessible. And finally, Stage 5 – Review from the Windows version is not present in the Mac version: to see your work in progress, Stage 6 will still show you everything, or you can export to Word in the familiar way to see what your document looks like.

It is completely compatible with the current Windows version. So if you want to move to Mac, you can do so. If you want to move projects between Mac and Windows, you can do so.

We know that so many of you have been asking for this and we are very pleased to make it available to you. Join our mailing list if you want to be kept up to date on further developments of Writing Helper Windows, Mac, and beyond…
